leavin' for lakewood, ohio on wednesday! i'm reallll excited because i haven't seen my family and my best friend in like a year. it'll be good to see my friends although i'm sure they've changed a lot. this is lakewood park haha i just found this picture. i think this is really old haha but idk what that is in the sky..



ok soooo i discovered a new artist and i can't get over how cool she is: kate wilson! she draws clothes but she also draws other things and she's made designs for prada!



did you guys see burberry's new ad campaign with emma watson? she has changed a lottt since the first harry potter into somewhat of a fashion icon that the world holds close to their hearts.



also, i'm going to fashion design camp! i am sososo excited because the lady who is leading it went to PARSONS (which in case you are rather ill-informed, is like my top-choice for collegee) so i hope to get some useful tips from her about fashion, admission, etc.

first festival of the summer!

health and harmony! recently shortened to just harmony, as there was not that much "health" stuff goin' on, although there were a lot of psychobabblish vibes and herbal-tea-drinkers. and we saw michael franti! woooo :) amazing. then, the next day: newspaper/duct-tape photo shoot!


i really have my heart set on going to PARSONS NEW SCHOOL OF DESIGN and everyone knows the first step is making paper clothes ;)
but, i have started sewing a nice skirt and i think that will turn out well.

it's the third day of summer! and it couldn't have come soon enough. i've decided that i'm going to be really productive this summer and i made a list of adventures that are to be had loikkee: skipping stones in creeks and laying in large fields under the stars. Apparently, these are somewhat mediocre & i have been deprived of goodhearted childhood experiences, or so i'm told. woe is me.

my new favorite movie is amélie. her childlike demeanor intrigues me.


unfortunately, i have an abundance of summer homework. fortunately, i am investing in some other reading material, like slaughterhouse five by kurt vonnegut.


i decided that i'm going to start sewing again and create something like this.

i inferred that because it's, ya know, a recession and all, that i should start making clothes & goin' thriftiinn', which has definitely been long overdue.
also, i've heard that it is to be the summer of dresses? sounds good to me.

the shins yayay!

although i am still feeling melancholy about missing coachella, i think i'll get over it..

'cause i'm going to see the shins in oakland tonight! and i don't even know what i'm going to weaarr!

so there is this amazing thing called coachella, which was last weekend. actually, i don't know whether it was amazing or not, because I DIDN'T GO. but i am just guessing :) i did go to outside lands last year, though, and it's probably pretty similar to that. but coachella just seems so cool with the uber-awesome lineups and style.com coverage!



scarlett was not at coachella. i just like this picturee and i would love to have dis hairr :)
so i'm reading the electric kool-aid acid test and it is like an ACID TRIP in itself, but it's very good. so far. i'm only on page 35... anywaaaay, since i couldn't indulge in live music i just bought an itunes gift carddd heh heh..
