i usually like ChloƩ so when i approved this season, i wasn't too surprised. it was mostly reworked basics with the same color scheme, which is what they're good at. i was pretty startled to see some pretty eclectic pieces. the diaper/karate one? not the first purchase going in my closet this fall.. the angelic goddess dress is basically amour. but, i might add a bra? just a thought, unless you like the LiLo/Lou Doillon for Givenchy look. might not go down to well in this suburban town, i'm thinkin'. and the DENIM OUTFIT. cannotgetoverit. i never would've thought to incorporate it like that, with the strips. and i usually don't care for all over denim, unless you're a fat cowboy motorcycle man. but, for this, it just works. magic.
really diggin' the 40's flapper feel at Collette Dinnigan. but florals? for spring? how original! i mean, the looks are nice with the draping and stuff, but she probably could've gotten a little more adventurous. anywho, the sequined flappers. can i just talk about how much i love sequins? LOVELOVELOVE. okay. just had to get that out. the hair was really soft and feminine in contrast with the definitely-not-40's-conservative lengths of the dresses.
i absolutely loved the looks at Louis Vuitton. the afros were amazing, like the models had just been transported straight outta the 70's! i don't know about the little fur tails hanging off the bags, though. i also don't know how i feel about the whole new FUR trend. or even faux because of what it symbolizes. now, don't get me wrong, ya look pretttty classy. i'm not about to go all PETA on yo assez and throw paint on you er nothinnn'. but i can't imagine wearing a coat of something that used to be little and cute and, well, ALIVE. but, that's the end of my rant, thank god.
basically, i just REALLYREALLY want these Dries pants cuz it looks like there are butterflies pasted all over them. and, i mean, who doesn't want butterflies pasted on their pants? lovin' DVN toujours.
