it's the third day of summer! and it couldn't have come soon enough. i've decided that i'm going to be really productive this summer and i made a list of adventures that are to be had loikkee: skipping stones in creeks and laying in large fields under the stars. Apparently, these are somewhat mediocre & i have been deprived of goodhearted childhood experiences, or so i'm told. woe is me.
my new favorite movie is amélie. her childlike demeanor intrigues me.
unfortunately, i have an abundance of summer homework. fortunately, i am investing in some other reading material, like slaughterhouse five by kurt vonnegut.
i decided that i'm going to start sewing again and create something like this.
i inferred that because it's, ya know, a recession and all, that i should start making clothes & goin' thriftiinn', which has definitely been long overdue.
also, i've heard that it is to be the summer of dresses? sounds good to me.
